East Kilbride Rolls-Royce have been playing amateur football in the New Town since 1954.

We were formed in 1954, with the team playing in the Scottish Amateur League, and a team also playing in the Glasgow Welfare League.

The club was actually an amalgamation of two teams, PSG (who were a printing subsidiary of Rolls-Royce), and EK Rolls-Royce. And it was not until 1975 when they amalgamated, did they become a stand alone club. With the 1st XI being managed by John Bones and Gordon Scullion, and the 2nd XI by Frank Stellard (who still keeps a healthy involvement to this day).

We have two teams, with the 1st XI playing in the Scottish Amateur Premier League Division Two, managed by Paul Millar and Gary Hay, assisted by Craig Young. The 2nd XI play in The Greater Glasgow Premier League Division Two after gaining promotion last season, and are managed by Stevie Heron, assisted by Kenny Kinnaird, Scott Gemmill and Ronnie Wilson.

Preseason training starts on Saturday 4 July at Halfmerke Primary School starting at 2pm.

Training will be Saturday, Monday and Wednesday till the start of the season on 15 August.

Preseason games are now being organized and the SAFL side have been invited to play in the Grangemouth Tournament on Saturday 25 July.

Other games arranged are Mossblown (1 Aug), Clydebank College and Giffnock North (both 8 Aug).

If anyone has any comments about the website or the club, please send your emails to  "The Boss", and he will definintely reply (eventually).
