"We Are The Rolly"
About the Club
East Kilbride Rolls-Royce have been playing amateur football in the New Town since 1954.
We were formed in 1954, with the team playing in the Scottish Amateur League, and a team also playing in the Glasgow Welfare League.
The club was actually an amalgamation of two teams, PSG (who were a printing subsidiary of Rolls-Royce), and EK Rolls-Royce. And it was not until 1975 when they amalgamated, did they become a stand alone club. With the 1st XI being managed by John Bones and Gordon Scullion, and the 2nd XI by Frank Stellard (who still keeps a healthy involvement to this day).
We have two teams, with the 1st XI playing in the Scottish Amateur Premier League Division Two, managed by Paul Millar and Gary Hay, assisted by Mark Pollock. The 2nd XI play in The Greater Glasgow Premier League Division Three (A) after gaining promotion, and are managed by Craig Young, assisted by Scott Gemmill and Big Del Watson.
